We don’t know if it’s the Christmas lights in Vigo, the smell of gingerbread biscuits, or the desire to wear Christmas jumpers since October, but Christmas has arrived at CENTUM!
At CENTUM, not only do we marvel at the lights that adorn Vigo, but we also let ourselves be enveloped by a Christmas spirit that has transformed our offices into a true festive paradise. Last week, our team brought Christmas forward and we celebrated it in the offices in a variety of ways…
Festive Sweets
The aroma of gingerbread and chocolate chip biscuits has permeated every corner of our offices. From delicious logs to exquisite cinnamon rolls, our CENTUM colleagues shared their favourite Christmas recipes to participate in our Christmas gastronomic contest. But which dessert was the winner?
It was a very close competition, but only one dessert was crowned the winner and that was the chocolate yule log. Congratulations Marta!
Ugly Sweater Day
The festive spirit would not be complete without the traditional “Ugly Sweater Day”. We all joined in the fun by wearing the most extravagant and creative Christmas jumpers we could find.
From flashing lights to strategically placed pom poms, each jumper was a unique expression that turned our offices into a veritable Christmas fashion runway.
The winner of this edition has experience and our colleague Sindo has been proclaimed the undisputed winner of Ugly Sweater Day 2023 for the second time in a row.
Christmas gift
As every year, CENTUM would like to remind the team of its importance on these special dates with a Christmas hamper.
In addition, with this basket we collaborate with the Juan XXIII Foundation, contributing to the inclusion of people in a situation of psychosocial vulnerability, especially with intellectual disabilities, enhancing their quality of life and that of their families through the development of their autonomy, initiative and training.
CENTUM family dinner
To end the week on an even more special note, we organised the “CENTUM Dinner“. It was a time to share laughter, anecdotes and reflections on the year that will soon come to an end. While enjoying a delicious dinner, we created memories that will last beyond the holiday season.
In addition, due to the success of the I Edition, this year the II Edition of the CENTUM Oscars was held during the dinner. For those who don’t know, this is an internal competition of different categories. In which all the members of the team vote for our favourites. The categories ranged from “Swiss Watch” to “Miss/Mr. Sympathy“.
With twinkling lights, extravagant jumpers and shared moments, we welcomed Christmas at CENTUM in a unique and memorable way. Because at CENTUM, we not only create technology and help save lives, but we also create unforgettable moments!
