The Emergency, Security and Defence sectors increasingly rely on cellular capabilities as a complementary tool for detection, location and communications during operations, including Search and Rescue (SAR), ISR and tactical communications missions.

CENTUM 5G
As cellular networks transition towards 5G Standalone architectures, ensuring compatibility with evolving standards becomes relevant for sustained operational capability. In this context, CENTUM has integrated 5G SA support into its systems to ensure operation within current and newer network environments while maintaining compatibility with existing configurations.

This development is part of a roadmap-driven product evolution focused on reliability and operational continuity. Current commercial off-the-shelf systems, as well as selected legacy systems, will progressively incorporate 5G SA capability, while new systems will include native support for this standard.

CENTUM’s airborne systems are designed for integration across helicopters, fixed-wing aircraft and unmanned platforms, supporting linefit approaches in collaboration with OEMs and integrators. The systems, including Lifeseeker, easyCATCHER and Cellair, are developed with a strong emphasis on size, weight and power (SWaP), enabling flexible deployment across urban, rural, maritime and remote operational environments.
