Recently, news of flights being affected by interference, such as the incident involving Spanish Defense Minister, Margarita Robles<\/a> or Ursula von der Leyen’s<\/a> plane being forced to land manually after suffering GPS interference, has once again brought to light a growing risk: attacks on GNSS systems, which can affect both air safety and all kinds of critical operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Global dependence on GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems) is total:
Air and maritime transport, telecommunications, logistics, defense, critical infrastructure… everything is synchronized and geolocated thanks to signals received from satellites.
And therefore, everything is vulnerable<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GNSS system degradations, whether deliberate (jamming<\/em>, spoofing<\/em>) or accidental, are not new challenges<\/strong>, but they are growing in frequency and sophistication. The question is no longer whether they can occur, but <\/p>\n\n\n\n
