\u00a0We don’t know if it’s the Christmas lights in Vigo<\/a><\/span>, the smell of gingerbread biscuits, or the desire to wear Christmas jumpers since October, but Christmas has arrived at CENTUM<\/a><\/span>!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

At CENTUM, not only do we marvel at the lights that adorn Vigo, but we also let ourselves be enveloped by a Christmas spirit that has transformed our offices into a true festive paradise. Last week, our team brought Christmas forward and we celebrated it in the offices in a variety of ways…<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Festive <\/span>Sweets<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The<\/span> aroma <\/span>of<\/span> gingerbread<\/span> and chocolate chip <\/span>biscuits<\/span> has <\/span>permeated<\/span> every<\/span> corner<\/span> of<\/span> our<\/span> offices<\/span>. <\/span>From<\/span> delicious<\/span> logs <\/span>to<\/span> exquisite <\/span>cinnamon<\/span> rolls<\/span>, <\/span>our<\/span> CENTUM <\/span>colleagues<\/span> shared<\/span> their<\/span> favourite<\/span> Christmas <\/span>recipes<\/span> to<\/span> participate<\/span> in <\/span>our<\/span> Christmas <\/span>gastronomic<\/span> contest<\/span>. <\/span>But<\/span> which<\/span> dessert<\/span> was<\/span> the<\/span> winner<\/span>?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It was a very close competition, but only one dessert was crowned the winner and that was the chocolate yule log. Congratulations Marta!<\/p>\n

Ugly<\/span> Sweater Day<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The<\/span> festive <\/span>spirit<\/span> would<\/span> not<\/span> be complete <\/span>without<\/span> the<\/span> traditional<\/span> \u201c<\/span><\/span>Ugly<\/span> Sweater Day<\/span><\/span>\u201d<\/span>. <\/span>We<\/span> all<\/span> joined<\/span> in <\/span>the<\/span> fun<\/span> by<\/span> wearing<\/span> the<\/span> most<\/span> extravagant<\/span> and creative Christmas jumpers <\/span>we<\/span> could<\/span> find<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

From<\/span> flashing <\/span>lights<\/span> to<\/span> strategically<\/span> placed <\/span>pom<\/span> poms<\/span>, <\/span>each<\/span> jumper <\/span>was<\/span> a <\/span>unique<\/span> expression<\/span> that<\/span> turned<\/span> our<\/span> offices<\/span> into<\/span> a <\/span>veritable<\/span> Christmas <\/span>fashion<\/span> runway<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The<\/span> winner<\/span> of<\/span> this<\/span> edition<\/span> has <\/span>experience<\/span> and <\/span>our<\/span> colleague<\/span> Sindo<\/span> has <\/span>been<\/span> proclaimed<\/span> the<\/span> undisputed<\/span> winner<\/span> of<\/span> Ugly<\/span> Sweater Day 2023 <\/span>for<\/span> the<\/span> second<\/span> time in a <\/span>row<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Christmas gift<\/strong><\/p>\n

As every year, CENTUM would like to remind the team of its importance on these special dates with a Christmas hamper.<\/p>\n

In <\/span>addition<\/span>, <\/span>with<\/span> this<\/span> basket<\/span> we<\/span> collaborate<\/span> with<\/span> the<\/span> Juan XXIII <\/span>Foundation<\/span><\/a><\/span>, <\/span>contributing<\/span> to<\/span> the<\/span> inclusion<\/span> of<\/span> people<\/span> in a <\/span>situation<\/span> of<\/span> psychosocial<\/span> vulnerability<\/span>, <\/span>especially<\/span> with<\/span> intellectual<\/span> disabilities<\/span>, <\/span>enhancing<\/span> their<\/span> quality<\/span> of<\/span> life<\/span> and <\/span>that<\/span> of<\/span> their<\/span> families<\/span> through<\/span> the<\/span> development<\/span> of<\/span> their<\/span> autonomy<\/span>, <\/span>initiative<\/span> and training.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

CENTUM<\/span>\u00a0family<\/span> dinner<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

To<\/span> end<\/span> the<\/span> week<\/span> on<\/span> an<\/span> even<\/span> more <\/span>special<\/span> note, <\/span>we<\/span> organised<\/span> the<\/span> “<\/span>CENTUM<\/span>\u00a0Dinner<\/span>“. <\/span>It<\/span> was<\/span> a time <\/span>to<\/span> share <\/span>laughter<\/span>, <\/span>anecdotes<\/span> and <\/span>reflections<\/span> on<\/span> the<\/span> year<\/span> that<\/span> will<\/span> soon<\/span> come <\/span>to<\/span> an<\/span> end<\/span>. <\/span>While<\/span> enjoying<\/span> a <\/span>delicious<\/span> dinner<\/span>, <\/span>we<\/span> created<\/span> memories<\/span> that<\/span> will<\/span> last<\/span> beyond<\/span> the<\/span> holiday<\/span> season<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, due to the success of the I Edition, this year the II Edition of the CENTUM Oscars was held during the dinner. For those who don’t know, this is an internal competition of different categories. In which all the members of the team<\/a><\/span> vote for our favourites. The categories ranged from “Swiss Watch<\/em><\/span>” to “Miss\/Mr. Sympathy<\/em><\/span>“.<\/p>\n

With twinkling lights, extravagant jumpers and shared moments, we welcomed Christmas at CENTUM\u00a0 in a unique and memorable way. Because at CENTUM, we not only create technology and help save lives, but we also create unforgettable moments!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We would like to thank all those who have given us their support throughout this year, but above all, we would like to wish everybody.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
