Lifeseeker<\/a><\/span> is helping SAR teams around the world to save lives and optimize operational cost. Lifeseeker is now used by nearly 40 SAR operators in over 20 countries across four continents. In the past year, 70% of missions were conducted in Europe, 20% in North America, and the remaining 10% were split between Oceania and Asia. But, how this airborne phone location system works?<\/p>\n

Lifeseeker is the airborne phone location system that pinpoints mobile phones accurately, even without network coverage and under adverse weather conditions. Our system turns a mobile phone into an emergency beacon capable of leading rescue teams to its exact location. Lifeseeker also acts as a relay and can provide a communication channel between the missing person and the rescue team.<\/p>\n

The key Lifeseeker data from the past year is:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

5 minutes<\/span><\/strong>: the average geolocation.<\/p>\n

> 10 minutes<\/strong><\/span>: the average search time.<\/p>\n

> 30 meters<\/strong><\/span>: the average accuracy.<\/p>\n

Within 5 meters<\/span><\/strong>: top accuracy score.<\/p>\n

75%<\/span><\/strong> of the missions were carried out in remote or mountainous enviorements.<\/p>\n

5%<\/span><\/strong> of these occurred under avalanche conditions.<\/p>\n

25%<\/span><\/strong> of the missions took place in urban or semi-urban areas.<\/p>\n

Lifeseeker was used on helicopters in 65%<\/span><\/strong> of the missions.<\/p>\n

It was used on drones for the remaining 35%<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n
