On Wednesday, May 31, the First Vice President and Minister of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, Nadia Calviño, announced the expansion of the Kit Digital program to SMEs with over 50 employees. This expansion will enable companies in this segment to access grants ranging from €25,000 to €29,000 to digitize their processes.
This development will be part of the addendum to the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan, which will be sent to Brussels next week. The addendum will mobilize an additional €7.7 million in transfers and €84 million in loans, in addition to the €70 million from the plan’s first phase. In total, €161.7 million will be allocated to drive economic recovery and promote digital transformation in the country.
